August 11, 2015

Wasn’t really busy today, which was good. I spent almost the entire day working on some current shipments and organizing stuff for my report.

My sister and N finally made it to Taipei, woo! After work, all of us met up for dinner at Number Nine Cafe. It’s not as good as before. Too bad. After dinner, T bought chicken chop and milk tea as dessert, and so that N could taste them. Then, we went to Brass Monkey for drinks. Apparently, there’s an entrance fee (consumable) of 300NTD per person. Tonight was salsa night so you could learn how to dance salsa.

We ordered the DIY platter where you can choose 4 dishes – we went for mozzarella sticks, jalapeño popper, buffalo wings, and calamari. For drinks, I chose Mai Tai, which is basically like juice except that it had rum. Pretty good. We also played foosball. It’s hard! T and I ended up winning against N and Roxane though, woohoo! I’ll write a separate blog post on Brass Monkey.

All in all a fun night!
