[Taiwan] Therese Eats: French Toast and Cafe (法蘭趣)

Standard

R and J brought me to this restaurant/cafe near the office for lunch one day (R’s treat) because we had some official things to talk about (away from the office XD) and they decided to do it over lunch. At that time, this restaurant/cafe just opened and they wanted to try it out and so this is where we ended up eating.

To date, I’ve eaten there a total of three times. First was with R and J, second was with A, K, and J, and third was with my cousins. The prices are reasonable (especially for the area) and the food is really good and filling.

It’s a pretty small place so it’s best to make a reservation. I’ve seen people falling in line, or deciding not to eat there anymore because there were no more seats. If I’m not mistaken, the place can seat maybe around 20 people. There are also only 3 “employees” – the owner is the chef, his wife helps him out and also takes charge of the cash register, and there’s this other guy (I don’t know if they’re related) who takes people’s orders and prepares the drinks. They have a Facebook page if you’re interested!
