Mom in Taiwan, Days 3-4!

Standard

September 9-10, 2012

We were supposed to go somewhere, anywhere (and the “young” ones actually suggested a lot of places), but the “older” ones didn’t want to go out anymore, so we just stayed at home. We ate, talked, played games (playing cards, UNO cards, etc!), and just hung out. Late afternoon, we went to Shida night market and walked around. Bought food and went to the nearby “park” to eat.

The following day, we went to the World Trade Center for the electronics trade show. I ended up buying an Energizer portable charger. It’s a bit expensive (and a bit big) because it can charge laptops and smartphones at the same time! Talk about power. Plus, Energizer has been around long enough in the market for us to know that it’s really reliable. I also have a 3-year warranty and a lifetime limited warranty thing. Not bad, not bad. Yeah, this is me rationalizing.

After that, we went to Taipei 101 to take pictures and be all tourist-y. Then, we had snacks at Ding Tai Fung. Hihi!

Mom was going back that night, so we drove her to the airport, and off she went! Awwww! Time flew by so fast. See you next year! ♥
