Taipei Zoo, Maokong Gondola, and dinner!

Standard

Another day spent with Jen and her cousins! Haha. One of her cousins was going back home to Kaohsiung (south of Taiwan), so they decided to spend the day out as a sort of last hurrah! They invited me to come along with them. We went to the zoo to walk around. We saw pink flamingos, a black bear, rabbits, penguins, monkeys, turtles, Formosan animals, etc etc! We weren’t able to see the panda though!

After the zoo, we decided to ride the Maokong Gondola because they haven’t experienced riding it yet. We were also in a bit of a rush because one of the cousins had a dinner with his friends, so we only rode up to Zhinan temple. Got off, took some pictures, and then went back. For dinner, they chose to meet in this restaurant that mainly serves salad. You choose your salad dressing, 2 side dishes, and drink. It wasn’t all that filling, or maybe it’s because we’re not used to eating just salad. A couple of hours later, we were hungry again. Hahaha!

This day also marked my first year anniversary in Taiwan! How time flies!
