It’s all Greek to me!

July 11, 2012

After class, I met up with Richelle and Roxane somewhere in Daan 大安 because Richelle wanted to have lunch at this noodle house she used to frequent back when she was in high school. We passed by a future MRT station. It’s so cool!

I checked my Facebook account, and I was surprised to see a message from my classmate asking if I wanted to have dinner together. It came as a surprise for me because I’m not that close with my classmates, and our class (for me) isn’t as close as my classes before. Well, I guess that takes time – something we don’t have because most, if not all of them, are going back to their own countries by the end of August.

We had dinner at this Greek restaurant in Yongkang 永康. There weren’t a lot of people, so it was nice. We ordered the set meal – you could choose to have soup, a main dish, dessert, and a drink. Since we didn’t really know each other, we talked a lot about our lives and stuff. It was actually fun, and there wasn’t a dull moment (well, at least for me! I don’t really know how it was for the others, right?) during the entire evening. Yay!
