You make the…

Standard

…good girls go bad!

Hahaha I’m currently addicted to that song. Woo!

Well, I don’t really have much to say for today.

Hitched a ride with D to school. Woke up late so I was rushing around. Haha sorry D!

Hung out at the tambayan and tried studying. I really don’t like the current location of our tambayan. I feel like it’s cramped and that there’s not much space. The pillars also get in the way. People can’t really mingle with each other. Oh well.

Went to the E booth after. Food from the S twins! Happy birthday! After that, I went back to AS for my Speech 130 class. We had another game and our group won! Yay I now have 2 points! It’s sort of unfair that she gave the losing group 1 point though. I mean, I wish she had also given our group 1 point last time. Sniff, oh well.

Span 80 discussion. We talked about some figures of speech. Figuras fonéticas — Alliteración, Paranomasia, Retruécano, Calambur, y Onomatopeya. I’m still sort of confused though. Haha! I don’t understand them that much.

We were told to make some of our own examples. We were divided into 2 groups again. It’s so hard to think! Haha K came up with a good one for Paranomasia — Las mujeres casadas están cansadas (The married women are tired). Hee. Paranomasia is a figure of speech wherein you use words which seem alike but which are really different. N and I also came up with one — No puede correr después de comer (You cannot run after eating). J came up with one too — Lloro por mi loro muerto (I cry for my dead parrot). We also came up with an Alliteración — Los coches se chocaron porque los choferes estaban comiendo chocolates. J’s group also came up with one — Los labios son las llaves del alma (Lips are the keys of the soul).

I’m not that sure with my translations though. HAHAHA!

We then looked at the Elegía and tried to look for some figures of speech. I found one! Hahaha weeh.

I also gave my Span classmates Spanish bread from the acquaintance party. Hee!

Went to the tambayan and talked with people. D, J, H, and M were there. C passed by and so M talked with her. Haha! I was surprised to find out that C was her cousin! Ooh, small world.

Eww, they were behind the thing.

Hitched a ride with D. T, T, H, and H also hitched along.

Mom brought home pizza and pasta from Pizza Hut! Made peace with T. HAHAHA!

I listened to some of Paulina Rubio’s songs for our Span 45 report. Ooh. I also stumbled upon Fanny Lu (a Columbian singer) and I like her songs that I got to listen to. They were upbeat! Haha.

Tried doing my Span 60 and 80 homework but they’re haaaard! Grr. Hmm, oh well. I’ll try to ask classmates tomorrow about that.

I want to go to Spain in 2011! WYD and vaca! Hahahaha!

Okay, this is getting long! Ciao!
