If you could live forever, would you? Why or why not?
Not really…. It’s actually hard to live in this world, with all its problems and obstacles. On the other hand, there are also a lot of good things left in this world as well so I guess if I could have all my close friends and all the good things live forever with me, I’d choose to live forever.
If stranded on a desert island, and could only bring one music album with you, which would it be? What is it about this music that never gets old for you?
I’m not really into the music scene but if I were to bring an album with me, I’d bring Hilary Duff’s album just because I grew up watching The Lizzie McGuire Show (which I liked) and because I like Hilary Duff! Hahahaha.
A lot of the songs in that album are songs I can relate to/I like, and she reminds me of my childhood so I guess those will never get old for me.
Who are the three funniest people in the world? Who are the three funniest people you know personally?
Hmm.. The top 3 people that popped into my head are: Joey Tribbiani, Chandler Bing, and Sheldon Cooper! Hahahaha Friends and The Big Bang Theory!
Personally, I find members of “The Chinese Family” to be funny at times! LOL
What’s your idea for a perfect Sunday? How would it differ from a typical Sunday?
A perfect Sunday for me is waking up late, having brunch while watching TV or reading a book, followed by friends, family, and my nieces and nephews coming around and hanging out. The perfect Sunday would end with dinner, movie and drinks. Hee!
A typical Sunday would probably have me waking up late, eating brunch, and sitting in front of my laptop the entire day. Either that or we’ll be going to my aunt’s house where we’ll watch TV or I’ll still sit in front of my laptop the entire day. HAHAHA!
I wanna spend less time in front of the laptop but a lot of tasks make it hard for me to do so.
What is your favorite sound?
My favorite sound would have to be my godson’s laugh, or my nephew Andre’s laugh. They’re so innocent and their laughs are contagious! When they laugh, their small eyes become even smaller and their dimples would show up! They’re sooo cute!
How do you define the word friend?
For me, a friend is someone who is there for me whenever I need him/her. Even if he/she is busy, when I really have something that’s bothering me, or if I need someone to talk to, that person will drop whatever he/she is doing for me. That’s how I am as a friend so that’s how I want to be treated by my friends as well.
Is it always better to know the truth, even when it hurts? Or is ignorance bliss? Or are they both true some of the time?
I’d have to go with the in-between answer. They’re both true some of the time. Well, I’d mostly want to know the truth especially with things concerning me because I’d want to know my “strengths” and “weaknesses” as well as who my real friends are ladida, but sometimes it can really hurt so ignorance could be bliss. I just don’t want not knowing something that everyone else knows. Complete ignorance is not that blissful.
What’s the single most important thing you accomplished in 2010? And how do you plan to top it in 2011?
Lemme see.. One of the important things I accomplished in 2010 was joining and winning the Linggo de Lingua quiz show. It was my first time to join a quiz show and win! Yay! In 2011, I’m sure there are going to be a lot more important things that I’m going to accomplish — graduating from college, getting that scholarship, working, etc etc etc.
The future is waiting for me and it seems really bright! I really hope so!
What’s the most important thing you’re putting off? And why haven’t you done it yet? What do you need to make it happen?
Hmm.. If we’re talking long-term, I guess I’d have to say that job hunting is something I’m not really doing my best on. Err. I’m just not sure if I wanna start working but I know I have to so I’m going to start looking for jobs ASAP!!!! Hahahaha.
Describe a time when you witnessed bravery: a) in your profession b) with your own eyes c) in someone you admire.
I think bravery is something that can be seen in something as simple as trying to save someone from a minor harm. This was what I saw with my 6 year old nephew. I remember a time when we were with them in the playground and his 4 year old sister was running around and if I remember correctly, a car or a cart or something passed by. My nephew suddenly stepped in front of my niece and pushed her aside so that she won’t be hit by the cart. Something like that. Something as simple as that, done by a child, is considered bravery in my book.
